Tunnels only for Teslas will take you underneath Las Vegas to avoid traffic

This tunnel is designed specifically for Teslas, and it’ll take you underneath Las Vegas to avoid traffic.

Known as the ‘Vegas Loop’, the tunnel was designed by The Boring Company, one of the companies that Elon Musk owns and runs.

Check out how wild this tunnel looks in the clip down below!

This tunnel is designed for one simple and yet crucial purpose.

It’s designed to beat traffic.

The tunnel is open to anyone, but you can’t take your car.

Not just because most cars that aren’t a Tesla Model Y wouldn’t fit, but simply because this tunnel works like a subway.

You can get to the tunnel, buy a ticket (or a subscription), and a fleet of Tesla cars will connect you from A to B.

It more or less works exactly like a subway, except you’re in a Tesla rather than on a train.

The price varies depending on how far you have to go.

The 2.8-mile journey from Downtown Las Vegas to the Las Vegas Convention Center, for example, will set you back $5.

Definitely cheaper than a taxi.

Downtown Las Vegas to Harry Reid International Airport (formerly known as McCarran Airport) is $12.

You can find more info about the Vegas Loop and see the full map on the Boring Company website.
