This man may have come across the deal of a lifetime when he bought a Jeep for an eye-watering $2.
Admittedly he did it without seeing any photos so there was a lot of potential for things to go badly.
Fortunately for the host of the YouTube channel Low-Buck Garage, things went better than expected.
Although admittedly, how high would your expectations be for a vehicle that costs less than a bottle of Coke?

How good – or bad – was this $2 Jeep?
So how did this YouTuber end up with this shockingly cheap Jeep?
He received an email from a man called Pancho, who was looking to give away his 1964 Jeep Wagoneer.
Right off the bat, Pancho was willing to give it away for $2, so it seemed like too good a deal to pass up.
No photos were exchanged, but Pancho did admit that whilst the engine was hooped, the truck was otherwise ‘junk’.
Did his assessment stand up when Low-Buck Garage got to see the vehicle in person?
Well, the vehicle was fairly rusted and the interior had clearly seen better days.
But considering the condition of some vehicles that often turn up – like the cars in this derelict junkyard – this Jeep wasn’t looking too shabby.
The engine does have its fair share of issues however, including mismatched components.
His worries that there would be potential ignition issues turn out to be founded, as the Jeep turns out to be a challenge to get going.
In all, the fuel system, clutch and electrical components all need work.
Once a working radiator is put in place, the engine gets fired up.
Does this vehicle have a future?
Despite the teething issues, Low-Buck Garage is optimistic about the future of this Wagoneer.
He told his 130,000 subscribers: “This is now a driving vehicle. A few minor inconvencies.
“The brakes don’t work at all, but it drives around. It’s getting there!
“I’m really glad I went and got [this car], it has a lot of things I look for.
“It’s vintage enough to be cool, but it’s in bad shape. So I get to have the fun of working on it, but not keeping it original.
“Once I get this cleaned up, I can bring my family with me.”
And you may be thinking ‘Sure, it cost $2 to buy, but how much did it cost to get it up and running?’
According to this YouTuber, his expenses are up to $6.
That estimate excludes fuel and burritos, however.
People have eaten doughnuts that cost more than this car.
Considering how much money is spent on cars – like this Mercedes that sold for over $140 million – this Jeep is a bargain no matter how you look at it.
