From the outside of the Tesla, these cameras provide a 360-degree view of the outside world around it.

This visual data taken in is then fed into a complex system of software algorithms.

This video is particularly interesting considering Tesla recalled more than 2 million cars earlier this month due to safety concerns over the Autopilot feature.
