These guys just took their Ford Mustang and turned it into a boat.
The group is known for their crazy refurbs. They’ve repurposed a limousine, a bus, and even an old police car.
And now they’re taking it to the next level.

After gutting the car, the guys over at FORD-MARKET replaced the Mustang’s V8 with a marine engine.
They then took their Franken-stang to the water and were thrilled to find it worked.
But it was lacking something.
Though it was a cool concept, it did just look like, well, a car stuck on a boat.
So, they hauled it out and took it back to the shop.
First, they cut two wheels in half, attaching four half-wheels to the sides.
This hugely enhanced the look, creating the illusion that the car was actually driving on water.
Next, they redid the dashboard, installing all the software a sailor would need.
The car was finished off with a fresh paint job in a Carbonized Gray shade iconic to the Mustang brand.
Most importantly it was totally sealed with fiberglass to make it waterproof.
Because no matter how much you chop up a Mustang, you still don’t want to ruin your seats.
The team then took to the waters of St. Petersburg in Russia to test the finished build.
Not only does it look like it’s literally driving on water, it’s fast too, reaching speeds of up to 30 knots.

Not everyone was impressed with the Mustang makeover.
“A Mustang is a special car. Taking it off the road is a crime,” one person said.
“You can’t fish, dive off, or sunbathe on this thing,” said another.
But most shared our sentiment that it looked downright awesome.
“Very Bond,” one said.
