The 2045 Plymouth Superbird EV concept has finally arrived to breathe new life into an iconic muscle car.

Its designer has brought the nostalgic vehicle right up to date.

Its iconic sharp nose and sleek design are still present, but an all-electric powertrain is a new twist on the classic.

It’s set to bring a new generation of muscle car fans into the fold.

2045 Plymouth Superbird EV concept

Perfect for fans of muscle car legacy, it closely resembles the original Plymouth Superbird.

However, the subtle modern touches bring it bang up to date.

Just like the original, the new concept car features two doors but becomes more practical with four seats.

However, this enhancement does not come at the price of its design.

One of the coolest features of the concept Plymouth Superbird is its adaptive bodywork, which changes depending on whether it’s in Normal or Track Mode.

In the Track Mode, the nose slides forward, and the wings are deployed, making the car look more aggressive and ready for a challenge.

A perfect blend of past and future

The amazing looks of the concept car, designed by Hayden Ahn, are further enhanced with LED headlights, vertical LEDs at the rear, and a unique wheel design.

Talking about the rear vertical lights, it’s like nothing you have seen before, giving the car a dramatic aesthetic.

Powering this beast is a battery pack located where the transmission tunnel used to be.

To boost more power into the car, one battery is installed under the hood.

Retro design and electric power – it’s just one of many new cars that look like they have been driven straight out of the 1980s.
