A 1972 Dodge Charger SE parked in Nevada for three decades was restored and taken to a car show for an emotional reunion with its previous owner.
The team from Mopar5150 heard about the Charger and decided to go and check it out.
The Charger had been stashed away inside a garage in Sparks, Nevada, for a whopping 30 years.
So, as you can imagine, it was absolutely ideal for a restoration project.

The 1972 Dodge Charger had been with its owner for decades
It’s always nice to see a car restored and returned to its former glory, such as this completely restored 1957 Chevy Bel Air that two sons gave to their dad on his birthday, or this much more modern repair job on a smashed-up Audi RS3.
Over in Sparks, Nevada, this classic Dodge Charger had spent decades off the road and was in need of some TLC.

The vintage vehicle belonged to a man named Harry, who had inherited it from his mother.
As the car had been with the family so long, Harry was reluctant to part with it but was eventually won over by Troy Bergeron from the Mopar5150 YouTube channel.
The restoration ended with an emotional surprise
Although the car had spent so long off the road, that’s not to say it was in bad shape.
It was all-original – apart from the rear quarter panel, which had been repainted at some point in its life – and had held onto its factory V8 engine.

After Bergeron worked out a deal with Harry, he wasted absolutely no time in getting the vehicle road-ready.
He did a rebuild of some of the mechanicals, fitted new tires, made much-needed repairs to the interiors, and gave it a fresh polish.
By the time he was done, the car looked as good as new, and was ready to head out to a car show.
However, before that, Bergeron took the Dodge Charger back to Harry to show him how good it looked following his restoration.
Harry looked over the moon to see the Charger’s transformation.
“This is unreal,” he said.
“Riding in this car is going to make me cry.”
