An Airbus ACH160 helicopter was seen racing a Renault F1 car at the Circuit Paul Ricard.

It was quite an innovative move by Airbus to promote their helicopter, showing its agility and power.

What better way to showcase what this Airbus helicopter can do than by chasing Daniel Ricciardo, a well-known F1 driver?

Airbus ACH160 races with Renault F1 car

The helicopter stayed close to the fast Renault F1 car, even around the track’s sharp turns and high-speed sections.

The chase was thrilling, but to make it even more fun, the ACH160 flew closer to the track than helicopters usually do, showing its flexibility.

Sometimes, it even looked like the Airbus ACH160 was about to land on the track, but then it pulled up just in time.

Airbus is certainly one of the best when it comes to aviation.

Whether it’s the Airbus ACH160 or their other speedy helicopter, the Airbus Racer, they never fail to surprise us.

Costing around $14 million, the luxury helicopter can seat up to 10 people.

This helicopter is a part of Airbus Corporate Helicopters, which focuses on custom business and personal orders.

The best thing about the chase was how the helicopter kept up its speed despite frequent turns.

It could have easily zoomed past the car if it wanted to.

More than just a luxury helicopter

The Airbus ACH160 does not just feature luxurious looks, but its quite powerful too.

It has a range of 460 nautical miles, a maximum endurance of 4 hours and 30 minutes, and a top cruise speed of 155 knots.

This makes it a top player in its game, just like the commercial flights of the brand like the enormous A380 or the Airbus AM Atlas.

While it’s not made specifically for F1, the Airbus ACH160 would be perfect for capturing superfast F1 cars at full throttle.

It might be a bit distracting for the drivers, though.
