A YouTuber found an outstanding collection of abandoned cars in what is undoubtedly a fascinating barn find.

The cars have clearly been there for a long time, but most of them are still in decent condition, apart from the inevitable rust, dirt, and flat tires.

Some of these cars are rare gems, too.

A YouTuber who goes by ‘The Bearded Explorer‘ found these vehicles in the middle of nowhere in rural France.

Among others, we spotted a Renault 15, a Citroën DS and several Mercedes vehicles.

There’s also a French fire truck and a BMW 2000, which is arguably the best car here along with the DS.

The most valuable vehicles from this barn find

The BMW 2000 is another of the most interesting vehicles here.

The 2000 was unveiled in 1966 as part of the ‘New Class’ line, and it’s quite hard to find one in good condition today.

It’s not as sought after as the 2002, which is actually loosely based on the 2000, but still quite valuable.

Some of these Mercedes models are also relatively valuable, if in good condition.

The same goes for the DS.

Introduced in the 1960s, the Citroën DS is regarded as one of the greatest automotive icons when it comes to design, and it’s still coveted today.

Back then, DS was just the name of a model, but several years later, in 2009, Citroën decided to launch an entire sub-brand called DS Automobiles, which is now part of Stellantis along with Citroën and several other brands.

Just like the original DS model, modern DS cars are 100 percent design-focused and design-driven.

The DS X E-TENSE, an asymmetrical car with a glass floor, proves it.

Imagine in 100 years when someone finds one of those in a barn.
