In a remarkable barn find in Northamptonshire, England, a treasure of vintage cars was uncovered.

However, the most incredible find among the cars — a 1952 Ferrari 166MM Vignale was almost overlooked.

The retro Ferrari piece was part of a larger collection that dates back to the 1920s and 1940s, all stored in what was once an aircraft hangar.

Barn find with classic vintage cars

The barn find was featured in a video by The Late Brake Show, who previously uncovered the barn with an abandoned Lamborghini Espada.

As the video took the viewers inside the barn hidden away for decades, it was as if one was going back in time.

And to add to the historic feel, the aircraft hanger once housed three historic planes, owned by the current owner’s father.

The cars in the barn were in rough shape, with most of them showing signs of age and neglect.

That said, the barn still had its vintage feel intact, thanks to rare gems of the automotive history.

1952 Ferrari 166MM Vignale was almost overlooked

From a red 1959 Berkeley SE492 to a gray 1953 Bristol 403, a handful of Morgan cars including a +4 DHC from 1959, Morgan +4 1957, and Morgan MX2 Super Sport 1933, the barn find was a treasure trove for any classic car enthusiast.

Not to forget, the real star of the show was the 1952 Ferrari 166MM Vignale.

The man who revealed the barn find explained what made Vignale cars so special was that each one was unique, with slight differences in body design and features from other models.

Unfortunately, the Ferrari was in poor condition, missing tires and a headlight, and covered in dust.

Despite this, there was still hope for its restoration.

With the right care, this rare Ferrari could once again shine on the road, reclaiming its former glory.
