Unboxing the world’s cheapest pickup truck from China

This is the cheapest pickup truck in the world. 

Called the Chang Li Explorer, it’s made by Alibaba in China and costs just $2000. 

And yes, it actually drives.

Before ordering the Chang Li pickup truck, there’s one thing you need to know; this purchase is not for the faint of heart. 

The truck comes in a huge wooden box which you have to unpack yourself.

Once you’ve tackled about 100 screws, the car will finally reveal itself – and that’s just the beginning.

Then you have to basically build the truck itself.

The automotive world is full of surprises, and two recent examples of this are the Rivian safari truck and the Chang Li Explorer pickup truck from China. Pictures of the unique Rivian truck have gone viral online, drawing attention to its unconventional design. In the bed of the truck, you’ll find a roof rack, bull bar, roll cage, side mirrors, and review mirror.

You need to connect each of them individually.

In some good news, the world’s cheapest pickup truck comes with some features you might not expect, including electric windows, a reverse camera, and a touch screen (albeit a finicky one). 

It also comes with windscreen wipers already attached (what a treat) and air conditioning. 

Not only does it have air conditioning on the dash, it has air conditioning on the roof too – although it more closely resembles the fans you might find to cool down your ancient family computer.

The truck bed lifts up to reveal the batteries. 

Then to turn the batteries on, there’s a switch underneath the driver’s seat.

One of the coolest features of the truck has to be the working hydraulic dump truck. 

This feature alone catapults the Chang Li Explorer into its own class of pick up truck. Ford F-150 who?
