China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC) is developing a super-fast maglev train hyperloop.

The train will be even faster than the current generation of commercial airliners.

Designed and developed by CASIC, China’s biggest missile manufacturer – the maglev train can reach a top speed of 621mph.

For context, the train is so fast that it will be capable of going from New York to Washington, DC in 20 minutes.

China’s new super-fast maglev train

China’s new T-Flight maglev hyperloop train has managed to reach speeds over 387mph during its first phase of testing.

In February of this year, it even broke the previous highest-recorded maglev speed of 375mph set by the Japanese L0 Series train.

Recently, another test run of the revolutionary maglev hyperloop train took it closer to its claimed top speed of 621mph (1000 km/h).

It is definitely the world’s fastest train by a longshot.

Maglev trains are not a new concept.

They are already being used in countries like China, South Korea, and Japan.

They are also much faster and quieter than traditional trains.

How do maglev trains work?

Maglev trains use a magnetic-levitation system to lift the train off the track and propel it forward.

However, a hyperloop maglev train takes it a step further by operating inside a low vacuum tube to eliminate air resistance.

Even Elon Musk also attempted to develop a hyperloop, which, according to rumors, has now been scrapped.

Then there’s also Hyperloop One which worked on the same concept but had to be cancelled last year, due to lack of funding. ‘

China’s maglev train project hopes to connect its megacities.

With this kind of speed, it will go from Shanghai to Beijing in 90 minutes.

The Chinese hyperloop train can revolutionize the transportation industry.

They are also better for the environment as they don’t produce direct emissions.
