Customized ‘CyberRoadster’ is a Tesla Model 3 transformed into Cybertruck-inspired beast

A Tesla owner has converted his Model 3 into a very unique-looking vehicle he’s dubbed a ‘CyberRoadster’. 

Before the Cybertruck was even rolling off production lines, US-based Tesla fan David Andreyev had a dream. 

It all started after he got his hands on a Model 3 Performance that had been badly damaged. 

No stranger to car conversions, Andreyev—or @cyberhooligan as he’s known on social media—decided to give it a complete overhaul and get it back on the road, but in a very different form from how it used to look.

Creating the CyberRoadster was a big undertaking

At this point, we’ve all seen plenty of Tesla mods, remember the Cybertruck that was turned into a giant mirror?

Or this man who rejected minimalism on his Model X?

But Andreye’s is something a little bit different – in fact, it’s one of the most extensive overhauls we’ve ever seen. 

After starting out at home, Andreyev decided to take the Tesla to his shop, where he quickly set about stripping back and cutting away from the car.

So much so that all that really remained of the original Model 3 was the hood and doors. 

With the chopping and clipping done, Andreyev began welding new panels onto the car and – in short – totally transforming how it looks. 

The car still has its Model 3 engine

Its design is completely unique and is reminiscent of the Cybertruck, the original Model 3, the Tesla Roadster, and a Corvette.

Let’s be honest, you won’t see anything else that looks quite like this out there. 

The CyberRoadster is still powered by the Model 3 Performance’s dual electric motor, which is capable of generating 480 horsepower. 

The original Model 3 was able to hit 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds – but it isn’t clear how, if at all, Andreyev’s mods have impacted that. 

Andreyev has documented his journey with the CyberRoadster on social media – including sharing regular clips on YouTube, where he and his interesting-looking motor have amassed an army of fans. 

The build has set Andreyev back $50,000, so far – and he isn’t finished yet. 

“It has been a rollercoaster ride,” he commented.
