This Cybertruck took on on a Lamborghini Aventador in a Virginia drag race with some surprising results.
The race took place outside the Boro in the town of Tysons Corner.
Once the video hit the internet, it generated a lot of backlash from both locals and the police.
But the footage is still pretty cool nonetheless.

How this Cybertruck and Lamborghini Aventador came to race each other
In the video, the Aventador can be seen pulling up to an intersection, running a red light and then positioning itself besides a Cybertruck.
The driver in the Lambo revs his engine, only to get smoked by his opponent.
All in all, the race to the next red light lasted less than five seconds.
With millions of views gained online, it got a big response.
Even Elon Musk himself reacted, as he tweeted: “Cybertruck can beat a Porsche 911 while towing a Porsche 911!”
This isn’t the first time that Musk has shared his reaction to a Cybertruck online – he has previously commented on several cool modifications.
How the police in Virginia have reacted
As reported by FFXNow, the police in the state have reportedly been looking to penalize drag racing.
The Virginia State Police have long been concerned with street racing and aggressive driving.
Earlier this year, they intervened in an alleged drag race which ended in a multi-vehicle crash.
In another incident, three people were arrested in Springfield after a cop car was mobbed and another officer was hit by a fleeing car.
Fairfax County has reportedly seen an ‘significant’ increase in street takeovers and stunt driving incidents.
Under Virginia law, street racing is prohibited as a form of reckless driving.
Anybody found guilty of supporting or organizing a race could be found guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor – which carry up to a year in prison or a fine of $2,500.
Fairfax County are looking to introduce a ban on aiding and abetting the stunt driving often seen at car meetups.
At this point in time, it’s unclear whether or not the drivers of the Lambo and the Cybertruck have been identified by authorities.
US state governments are constantly trying to stay on top of problems on the road.
Over in Utah, the state’s Department of Transportation have used laser beams to cut down on road accidents.
