Ferrari 12Cilindri supercar is the new kid on the block that features the iconic V12 engine closely associated with the Italian car maker.

It is the successor to the 812 Superfast and is the latest evolution of Ferrari’s F140 V-12.

Here’s everything we know about the new Ferrari 12Cilindri supercar that has just made its debut.

The Italian car maker has managed to make an impressive gas-powered supercar with no hybrid assist while meeting all the relevant emissions standards.

With no hybridization, electric motor, or turbocharger in sight, the supercar is all about the al naturale internal combustion engine.

Ferrari 12Cilindri: Coupe and a Convertible

For the first time in the company’s history, Ferrari has unveiled an open-top Spider version at the same moment as the original.

The convertible, dubbed the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider, gives potential clients the option of experiencing a wind-in-the-hair moment at launch.

The convertible version has the same performance specs as the normal version.

However, it has a retractable hardtop roof that adds 60kg to the overall weight.

As usual, the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider convertible is more expensive than its regular counterpart.

This is before adding any options, which can drive the price up even higher.

Ferrari 12Cilindri: Performance

The Ferrari 12Cilindri pays homage to the naturally-aspirated V12 with 830bhp of power.

With 830bhp, the 12Cilindri has 40bhp more than the outgoing Ferrari 812 Superfast.

The 6.5-liter, 65-degree V12 engine provides enough power to give the Ferrari 12Cilindri a 0-60mph time of 2.9 seconds.

Ferrari also quotes a 0-124 mph time of less than 7.9 seconds.

On the other hand, the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider convertible is barely slower due to the added weight.

It has a 0-62 mph time of 2.95 seconds and a 0-124 mph time of less than 8.2 seconds.

Both cars have a top speed of over 210 mph, with a redline set at 9,500 rpm.

The Italian carmaker is using the latest generation of its F140HD V12 engine, first developed for the Ferrari Enzo in 2002.

A gas-powered beast in an all-electric era

While most manufacturers have given up on the V12, Ferrari has somehow found a way past the strict emissions regulations around the world.

They introduced an all-new exhaust system with a ceramic catalytic converter in the new 12Cilindri to pass the current Euro 6 emissions regulations.

However, you can still expect the signature ‘howl’ associated with Ferrari’s high-revving V12s.

Fortunately, the automaker is still working on its all-electric supercar, which is on track to drop during the last quarter of 2025.

In an era where major manufacturers are trying to shift to electric, Ferrari has demonstrated its commitment to gas-powered cars while working on their all-electric supercar.
