Founder of Zara set to receive his $300 million hybrid electric superyacht

Spanish billionaire Amancio Ortega is set to receive his stunning new electric superyacht named Drizzle.

For those who don’t know, he is the owner of the popular clothing brand, Zara.

The luxury superyacht is crafted by the Dutch yacht builders, Feadship.

Electric Superyacht Drizzle owned by Amancio Ortega

Drizzle is a 92-meter hybrid electric yacht, adding another strand of luxury to Ortega’s already luxurious lifestyle.

The technologically advanced superyacht is equipped with a hybrid electric propulsion system.

With two powerful engines and electric motors powered by a 1MW lithium-ion battery pack, the yacht delivers serious power while reducing its environmental impact.

What makes this superyacht special is that it was a collaboration project between the Dutch studio, Sinot, and Amancio Ortega’s own design team.

The yacht’s exterior and interior, both speak of its stunning design.

It has a deep blue hull and a white superstructure, giving it a classy look.

Features and amenities of the superyacht

Ortega’s electric superyacht can carry up to 14 guests in its five luxurious cabins, including 18 crew members to assist you.

The yacht includes an owner’s suite, a family lounge, and a wellness area for relaxation and entertainment.

Other amenities include a spacious pool and the beach club with fold-down platforms for easy water access.

A side-loading garage stores two 10-meter tenders, a ski boat, and various water toys.
