Porsche Taycan, the iconic luxury electric sports car, has washed up in the most unexpected place after severe floods in Manchester.
The electric car found itself far from the road, frozen solid on a golf course fairway.
It’s not every day you see a car worth over $100,000 stranded on a golf course.
However, the story only gets crazier.

Porsche Taycan discovered on a golf course after floods
On New Year’s Day, heavy rain caused the River Mersey to rise to its highest levels in 66 years, triggering major flooding in Didsbury, Manchester.
Streets, parks, and homes were submerged, forcing more than 400 people to evacuate.
Rescue teams worked around the clock, using boats to save residents from flats, a hotel, and nearby properties.
Fletcher Moss Park and St James’ Church were completely underwater, with cars floating down the streets.
Among the chaos, the Porsche Taycan somehow got swept away in the floodwaters and ended up on the Northenden Golf Club fairway.
The club shared the bizarre discovery on their Facebook page, showing the car covered in ice after freezing overnight.
Had the poor Porsche Taycan been protected from the flood like this Porsche 911, it would have been in a better condition.
The only hope for the electric sports car is an extensive restoration
The car was first spotted by local resident Russell Miller who made the discovery while walking his dog.
Miller said it looked like the car had been dragged halfway across the course by the floods.
The only hope for the car now is an extensive restoration.
Bringing the car back to life would be hard, but we have seen flooded cars restored to their prime before, like this Bentley Continental GT – so there’s hope for this Porsche electric sports car still.
