Many car owners will name their vehicles, but this group of Chevy Camaro drivers take it to the next level.
If you give an inanimate object a name, it’s often a sign that you’re quite fond of it.
This is why we have boats, planes and motorbikes bearing titles that would usually be reserved for the living breathing organisms.
But when it comes to this gang of Camaro owners, their names may be unmatched in the cool department.

What sort of names have been bestowed upon these Chevy Camaros?
We’re certainly not saying that it’s a new phenomenon for people to start naming their cars.
According to a 2013 Nationwide Insurance poll, 25 percent of people have a name for their car.
The survey found that younger people and women were more likely to designate their cars with a title.
And that’s not even getting into cars in popular culture who have names – Christine, KITT, Herbie, Lightning McQueen.
Wherever you look, cars are being given cute monikers.
So, if it’s a relatviely common practice, what makes this gathering of Camaro owners stand out?
As reported by autoevolution, a Facebook group for Camaro drivers were sharing the names they’ve given their vehicles.
One group participant called Clayton shared that his black Camaro was called ‘Gremlin’.
Now there’s a name with some oomph.
Riding on black multi-spoke wheels – which were formerly a mix of black and red – Gremlin is one imposing car.
Here’s hoping nothing bad happens if you drive it after midnight, huh?
What other Camaro names were being shared in this group?
The other names being shared in the group were seriously cool.
There was Kryptonite, a nod to the green crystal like material found on Superman’s home planet of Krypton.
This isn’t the first time that the Man of Steel has been paid tribute to in car form – just take a look at what Shaq added to the front of his Rolls-Royce Phantom.
There was also Scarlett, Black Magic and Bastet, the latter being the name of the Egyptian Goddess of Pleasure.
The group also had some room for a few humourous labels in there, such as Bank Account Destroyer.
Whilst we don’t doubt that the car would have made a dent in the bank account, it certainly won’t have cost as much as the Ferrari 250 GTO – one of the world’s most expensive cars.
Every name in the group was iconic in its own way, whether it was Wicked Wilma, Rebel, Silver Bullet or Bumblebee.
A blue Camaro even got designated Fluffy, which just goes to show that there’s room for soft and cuddly names.
There’s just as much diversity with car names as there is with human names.
One may question whether we’re doing too much to personify these vehicles, but at the end of the day, cars have big emotional impacts on those who drive them.
