Ye, aka Kanye West, recently spent some time in Saudi Arabia and he clearly loves it.
As a matter of fact, he loves it so much – he’s planning to build his own city in the Middle East.

In order to build his own city, dubbed YZY Droam, Kanye has launched a website to recruit project managers, engineers, architects and contractors.
And the city isn’t small, either.
According to the job description, YZY Droam will be a “100,000 acre V1 city in the Middle East”.

Kanye has tried this before.
In 2020, he announced a plan to build his own city in Wyoming, but the US State told him “nope”.
Maybe he’ll have better luck in the Middle East.
Speaking of which, we’re not exactly sure what he means by ‘Middle East’.
However, what we do know is that Kanye wants YZY Droam to be a self-sufficient city.
It remains to be seen whether this is going to be a project to ‘flex’ a bit, or if he has other ideas.
Kanye has certainly been spending a lot of time in that part of the world in recent months.
He recently spent some time at a resort (above) in the middle of the desert, working on his upcoming album after attending the Tyson Fury v Francis Ngannou match.
Then, just a few days ago, Will Smith shared a selfie on a first class trip to Dubai after randomly running into Kanye on the plane.
Kanye West, who legally changed his name to ‘Ye’ in 2021, has been away from the public eye for nearly a year now.
In late 2022, some controversial remarks he made on social media and during some interviews got him fired by Adidas, Gap and Balenciaga in close succession.
Since then, the 46-year-old rapper has been rather quiet and spent time focusing on his music.
And now, apparently, his own city.
