A man bulldozed a path through the forest to get an abandoned Plymouth Valiant — this classic American muscle car had been sitting there for 41 years.
The car was found in a remote area of Alabama, US.
Surprisingly, the car is in very good shape considering Chrysler’s notorious reputation for its cars’ premature biodegradability.
The former owner had parked the car in this spot when it was still an empty land, but the forest had grown around the car over the past four decades.

Abandoned Plymouth Valiant
Introduced in 1959, the Plymouth Valiant sold like hotcakes in its first five years, just short of one million units.
This classic American muscle car had one of the most legendary engines, due to its longevity.
The Valiant was also quite cheap and because of that, it was used by several federal and state agencies and even the US Military.
The abandoned Plymouth Valiant in the middle of the forest also seems to belong to a branch of the military.
The car’s past is shrouded in mystery after the death of the former owner.
However, the ‘IK 5359’ stenciled on various parts seems to point towards the car belonging to the military, at one point.
Getting it out of the forest
The car had been sitting there for the past four decades, only to be discovered by YouTuber, Dylan McCool.
He also shared the video of rescuing the abandoned Plymouth Valiant on his YouTube channel.
However, the muscle car seemed to have grown attached to the place as it didn’t move easily.
In the end, the mechanic had to bring a tractor to pull it out of the vegetation.
This is not the first time that McCool has restored a classic American car.
Previously, he also rescued a 1973 Dodge Challenger.
Hopefully, he can restore this classic American muscle to its full glory again.
