Towering above the Seattle skyline, a rooftop is the last place you would expect to see the $1.7 million McLaren Elva—but someone actually managed to lift the supercar 48 floors to the tower’s penthouse.

Now, who would be wealthy enough to own such an expensive car and a $5.1 million penthouse at First Light Tower?

The answer might be a bit more weird than you think.

McLaren Elva lifted to a Seattle penthouse

A $1.7 million McLaren Elva was lifted 48 stories to a penthouse of the ‘First Light’ luxury tower in Seattle.

The luxurious condo building inaugurated its opening by hoisting a supercar to its rooftop penthouse.

It is not the first time we have seen an expensive supercar get lifted atop a tower.

Just recently, we saw a vintage 1975 Porsche Speedster get hoisted 58 stories, as the owner wanted to place it in his living room.

The Mclaren Elva was also lifted up the tower in a similar fashion.

Does the car come with the penthouse?

Unfortunately, the car doesn’t come with the penthouse.

The supercar was hoisted to the rooftop for a one-day display, during the inauguration of the tower.

However, the $5.1 million penthouse package includes a bespoke McLaren GTS.

The model will be customized with guidance from the tower’s architect, James KM Cheng.

This offer is similar to the Aston Martin penthouse, that came with a DBX luxury SUV.

In the above video, uploaded by McLaren Seattle, you can see the McLaren Elva strapped to a platform, that is attached to a crane.

It’s the same crane that was used for the construction of the tower.

After lifting the supercar above the Seattle skyline, it was finally placed at the corner of the penthouse suite, right beside the pool.

Despite what you think about the city, there’s no denying that the supercar looks exquisite, especially with the Seattle skyline in the background.
