Shaquille O’Neal is not just known for his stellar basketball career, but also for his massive frame and modified cars.
At seven-foot-one and weighing over 300 pounds, finding cars that can accomodate a man of his stature has been a challenge.
Over the years, O’Neal has modified several vehicles to ensure they can accommodate his towering height.
Let’s take a look at some of the most memorable rides Shaq has had to modify just to fit inside.

Cars modified to fit Shaquille O’Neal
One of the most amazing and surprising customizations is Shaq’s one-of-a-kind Lucid Air coupe.
To make this two-door electric sedan fit his large frame, Shaquille O’Neal had the B-pillar cut and new doors and quarter panels installed.
However, despite the significant body modifications, the powertrain and wheelbase remain untouched.
The Superman-themed wheel center caps and ‘DIESEL’ branding on the front added a unique touch to Shaq’s ride.
For proof of how much Shaquille O’Neal is into customized automobiles, he was actually the first person ever to get a carbon fiber Cybertruck.
Shaq’s collection isn’t limited to modern cars.
Back in the day, he had two soft-top Ferraris – a silver F355 and a red 360 Modena, but the soft tops were removed.
This allowed him to push the seats back even further, though the fuel tank had to be relocated in the process.
One of those Ferraris sold for just $65,000 in 2020, with the buyer commenting on how rare it was for someone of his size to comfortably fit into such a car.
Shaq has a unique taste in vehicles
Then came his Lamborghini Gallardo – another car modified just for the former LA Laker.
With the car’s wheelbase and roofline altered, this Gallardo was customized to accommodate his massive frame, with the customizations costing him $600,000.
Surprisingly, he even owns three Rolls-Royces that he never drives.
From Lamborghinis to Ferraris, Rolls-Royces, and unique vehicles like Polaris Slingshot and Vanderhall Venice, he has some of the most memorable modified cars in the automotive world.
