Tiffany car-shaped clock, hero image

This vintage car is actually a desk Tiffany clock.

It’s made by renowned jeweler Tiffany & Co. and it costs more than a Porsche 911.

The jewelry house calls this the ‘Time For Speed‘ and it is a tribute to the connection between cars and horology.

It’s also a way for the company to showcase its crafting skills because the clock is technically brilliant.

Absurdly expensive, but brilliant.

A single-cut diamond is set at the center of each wheel and the front bumper is decorated with the iconic number ‘5’, a nod to Tiffany’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue, New York City.

The bezel of the clock, which is located on the right-hand side of the car, is adorned with rows of pavé diamonds and a ‘Tiffany & Co.’ plaque.

On the left-hand side, you’ll find another diamond-encrusted ring and rotating dials to display the hours and minutes.

Which begs the question, how do you actually set the time?

In order to change the time, you have to rotate the three-spoke steering wheel counterclockwise.

The clock is certainly beautiful but the eye-watering price might scare a lot of would-be buyers away.

The Tiffany & Co. Time for Speed retails for $215,000 in the US.

For reference, a brand-new 2023 Porsche 911 has an MSRP of $107,550.

Mind you, this clock was designed for collectors who don’t have to make that distinction and can easily afford both.

About Tiffany & Co.

Tiffany is arguably the world’s most famous jewelry house and luxury retailer.

Originally founded in Connecticut, the retailer is now headquartered on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, NYC, where its legendary store is located.

Tiffany often teams up with various watchmakers to release limited-edition Tiffany-signed timepieces.

Earlier this year, a Tiffany-signed Patek Philippe Nautilus fetched $3.22 million at auction in Geneva.
