In one of the most lavish brags yet, a Utah family has craned a Tesla Cybertruck into their backyard swimming pool to test the weight of the pool cover.

Anyone lucky enough to own a private swimming pool is doing rather well with their quarters collections.

But anyone who has a spare Tesla Cybertruck handy to use as a mere paperweight is on another level entirely.

Well, that’s the test that The Bingham family recently ran, as they used a Cybertruck to test just how much weight their pool cover could hold.

Tesla Cybertruck craned onto US Mansion pool cover

The Tesla Cybertruck is a beast in its own right.

If it’s not conquering powerhouses in a tug-of-war, it is burning rubber to show off just how quickly it reaches top speed.

This time though, the famed EV isn’t dancing its way around agility or strength tests, but rather being used as a a 6,000lb dumbbell.

Popular American family The Binghams document their lavish lifestyle on YouTube (This Is How We Bingham), and in a recent upload they have tested the strength of their US mansion swimming pool cover, by craning the Cybertruck onto it.

The Cybertruck in question is wrapped in bright red – not quite like Lil Baby’s fully customized one though – rather than the usual silver, so there was no mistaking it for a cloud or a plane.

The crane was set up just outside the property with the Cybertruck firmly strapped in for a ride.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen some incredible cars get hoisted through the air.

However, they’re often used as centerpieces in ultra-luxurious penthouses, not dropped onto a pool.

No matter how bizarre the experiment was, the question remained: would the pool hold the 6,000 beast?

Or would the crane need an extra-strong fishing rod to catch a soggy Tesla?

Utah family celebrates bizarre Cybertruck accomplishment

Lo and behold, after slowly releasing the Tesla down from the Utah skies, the Cybertruck was relaxed onto the pool cover and stayed dry.

The Bingham family and friends even jumped into the pickup for good measure, adding a few more hundred pounds of weight.

That’s one strong pool cover!

Thankfully, the Cybertruck was lifted back out without as much as a drop of water on its wheels.

The futuristic car is no stranger to the wet though, and even if it did fall in, the EV has a lot of experience battling deep waters.

Still, that’s quite an expensive paperweight.
