This YouTuber snuck inside an abandoned car factory on the Sicilian coastline and it was like history was frozen in time.
The enormous car assembly halls were once the production home of Fiat models.
The YouTuber’s discovery gave a sneak peak into what life was like when the factory was still running.
But despite its abandoned state, there was still an active security team, but that didn’t stop him from sneaking in to get a better look.

Inside the abandoned car factory
YouTuber Jessey known online as Forgotten Buildings published footage from inside the abandoned car factory and it was like stepping back into Italy’s history of car-production.
Located on the Sicilian coastline, this particular car factory was one that used to produce mainly Fiat 500s and Fiat 126s, until later producing the iconic Fiat Panda into the 1980s and 1990s.
After sneaking past the active security guards, Jessey could see inside the building and showed his viewers that most of the production lines remained intact.
The huge yellow tracks that used to move the cars were in perfect condition and could probably work if they were booted up today.
A sense of teamwork
Jessey snuck into the worker’s office areas around the mighty production halls and found a collection of sports trophies that must have belonged to the workers.
While there were no retro Fiat cars left inside the building, Jessey did discover some relatively new tire marks on the floor to suggest the factory was not totally abandoned.

The YouTuber eventually left when he was spooked by the sound of a door slamming.
The video revealed that this little nugget of Italian history has sadly seen better days.
