The entire shoe is covered in green fur as a tribute to the popular folklore icon that provides the theme for these Nikes.

Apart from the uppers, the fur was also applied to the heel, the tongue and the midsole.

Even the soles are unusual because they’re finished using two different colors.

The left one follows an ‘earthy’ theme, while the right shoe features a ‘rocky-looking’ finish in a color called ‘Grind’.

To top it all off, the Grinch sneakers are adorned with a Yin Yang patch and CPFM branding on the tongue.

The shoe will debut in late Summer, ahead of the Holiday season.

And the price?

CPFM hasn’t released a price just yet, but based on its previous collaborations, we can expect a price tag north of $300.

About the Grinch

The character was created by American cartoonist Theodor ‘Dr Seuss’ Geisel in 1957.

It made its first appearance in the book ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas!’.

Visually, the Grinch is depicted as a bipedal animal who is covered in green fur and capable of speech.

It is a solitary and grumpy character who hates Christmas and wants to cancel it by stealing gifts and decorations.

There have been several movie adapations, including the 2018 animation film ‘The Grinch’, starring the voices of Benedict Cumberbatch and Rashida Jones.

About the Nike Dunk sneaker

The Nike Dunk was first released in August 1985 as a high-top basketball shoe.

The low-top version hit the market a few months later the same year.

The sneaker was hugely popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

It made a huge comeback in the late 2010s / early 2020s, chiefly thanks to the collaboration with Nike’s sub-brand ‘Air Jordan’.
