If you were to guess what the most expensive car in the world is, what would you choose?

A Lamborghini, a Bugatti, maybe even a Ferrari?

If you’d chosen a Ferrari you’d be right, as the Ferrari 250 GTO Alex got to see in the above video is the most expensive car in the world.

How much is it worth? Just a cool $55 million.

This particular car was the first Ferrari GTO 250 built and it was made for American racing driver, Phil Hill.

The Ferrari 250 GTO has always been a desirable car, but what makes this example is its racing pedigree.

Finished in blue with a white stripe (American racing colors from the time), it qualified at Le Mans in 1962.

And despite being thrown around a track, today it’s still in mint condition.

She’s an absolute beauty.
