This is the ‘ONO’, a 492-foot yacht concept that looks like it’s straight out of the Star Wars movie franchise.
It looks a bit ominous and it is absolutely massive.
It’s more than just hyperbole too.

At 492 feet, or 149 meters, this would be the eighth longest yacht in the world.
It would be slightly longer than the Prince Abdulaziz, a 482-footer owned by the Saudi Royal Family.
Conversely, it would only be 13 feet shorter than the 509-foot Al Said, owned by the Sultan of Oman.
CHECK THIS OUT!
According to its designer, this 492-footer is meant to look like a menacing shadow “hovering above the horizon”.
That’s not far from the truth as the unique blacked-out silhouette creates the illusion that the vessel is floating.

On the foredeck, you’ll find a helipad and a submarine-like entryway.
Meanwhile the aft deck is large enough to accommodate two sun decks and an infinity pool.

The black exterior features a combination of aluminium, tempered glass and fiberglass.
As for the interior, in addition to the lounge bar and cabins, you’ll also find a garage for jet skis and a movie theater.
And last but not least, the yacht roof is covered in solar panels.

And the price?
Well, for now this is just a prototype.
However, if it makes it to production, it would easily become one of the most expensive yachts in the world.
For reference, the Al Said yacht cost $600 million to build and has an annual running cost of around $80 million.
