Elon Musk has been planning the construction of a retro-themed Tesla diner with a Supercharger station for a long time.

The billionaire’s vision to add an old-school drive-in, roller skates, and rock restaurant at one of the new Supercharger stations in LA is finally close to fruition.

It’s been nearly six years since Elon Musk teased the original concept for the diner and drive-in theater hybrid.

The original concept art for Tesla’s Hollywood supercharger station looked like something straight out of Stranger Things.

Who knows if that’s where Musk got his inspiration from? Back then, the show was one of the most popular Netflix series, so it could be possible.

The Supercharger station with drive-in theatre will feature short films – roughly 30 minutes.

During this time, visitors can charge their electric cars and order food from the diner.

The Supercharger station with a diner and walk-in movie theater is located at 7001 W. Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood.

So, if you live around that area and own a Tesla, then you are in luck.

The station will feature around 30 electric vehicle supercharging stations.

Even if you do not own a Tesla, you might be able to charge your electric car in the diner soon.

The company plans to open some of its exclusive fast-charging networks to some non-Tesla EV owners.

Several popular food chains have also started to install EV chargers for their customers.

It allows the customers to charge their while they chow down the food.

Musk initially tweeted that the supercharger station in Hollywood would be ready by the end of 2023.

However, Musk is known for not meeting deadlines, and the same is true here.

So, it might take a while for the company to fully open up the diner to normal visitors and local residents.
