Toyota Land Cruiser Prado wooden toy car is a masterpiece

This Toyota Land Cruiser Prado may be the coolest wooden car you've seen yet: the attention to detail really is mind-blowing.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has a reputation for combining quality, reliability, and unrivaled off-road performance.

That reputation comes at a cost, though, as it’s not a cheap vehicle to buy.

That doesn’t mean you can’t have one – at least in the form of a wooden toy car.

If you ever find you’ve got some time on your hands, head to YouTube and search for ‘Woodworking Art’.

Using blocks of wood, the carving artist made a scale model in the form of a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

The creation isn’t perfect, but we’re sure a number of you dear readers can appreciate the craftsmanship behind the wooden car.

CHECK THIS OUT!

The Toyota Land Cruiser has an off-road heritage spanning 70 years, with the latest models some of the best looking ever produced.

The folks from Woodworking Art were able to translate that beauty into the wooden model – or at least that’s what we think.

The model also comes with moving parts, which makes it even more special.

The wheels are working, and so are the suspensions at the front and at the back.

The steering’s working as well, while the bonnet, engine cover, and doors all open up.

That includes the split tailgate, which is hinged opening to reveal a back seat.

What’s notable is the effort that’s been made to ensure the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is as detailed as can be.

Considerable effort has been made to ensure the alloys wheels look like the real thing, as have the tires, which even feature a tread pattern.

Side runners, roof bars and wing mirrors are all minor details, but they have all been included to make the wooden toy look the part.

What we’re not sure of is if Woodworking Art is selling the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado or if you can have another vehicle commissioned by these creative people.

Make sure you check out their YouTube channel to see the other amazing creations they’ve made.
