This ultra-stylish house is built underground and looks like it’s straight out of a Hollywood movie.

You know those flicks where the protagonist emerges after a post-apocalyptic event and has to rebuild the world? Yep, one of them.

And it’s not a prototype or a fancy project for a design contest, it actually exists.

The home is in Messenia, a peninsula in the southwestern tip of Greece.

And it’s officially known as ‘Villa Ypsilon’, named after the Y letter in the Greek alphabet, because of its shape.

The main structure consists of a three-pronged concrete shell that forms the roof.

Because of its unique design, each courtyard is exposed to the sunlight but never at the same time.

So that means you always have an option to either tan or stay in the shade.

Outside, there are groves of olive trees, a nice sun deck, and an eye-shaped swimming pool.

The interior is just as futuristic as the exterior.

It has a 1,614-square-foot open space divided into two main parts.

When you open the entrance door and walk in, you’ll find yourself in a living room that also integrates a kitchen and a dining room.

Moving on, you’ll find a more private space with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Lassa, the company that build it, used locally-sourced materials for the house, including concrete and marble.

In addition to that, they relied on machines to cut and weld metal to save time.

The company said building the house would have been near impossible without this tech and materials.

The price of the house remains undisclosed.

But we can always speculate.

Based on size, location, and most importantly design, you’re probably looking at $3-$5 million.
