With the cost of living on the increase, people are making all kinds of cutbacks.

A TikToker, for example, recently posted a video in which she shared what life’s like living in her Tesla full time.

Understandably, this has thrown up lots of questions – particularly around how she keeps warm – and she’s revealed how.

Car-dweller Stephanie Virovec shared how a hidden button in her SUV helps keep her warm in freezing temperatures.

In the video, Stephanie showed viewers which climate control option she uses in her 2020 Tesla Model Y.

While a Tesla hacker recently discovered a secret ‘Elon Mode’ that completely changes the car, Stephanie revealed the hacks she uses.

She revealed that in the car’s settings, there were several temperature options, such as ‘Dog’ and ‘Camp’ modes.

These modes enable Stephanie to cool the car down or turn the temperature up, depending on the climate.

“One of my absolute favorite things is actually the climate control options,” she said.

Stephanie also lives in the car with her dog, Snow, and cat, Finley.

Thanks to the SUV’s climate control settings, her pets are kept warm and comfortable, too.

Not too long ago, Elon Musk came to the recuse of a man whose pooch kept opening his Tesla’s window.

“My pets and I have camped in temperatures as low as minus 25 degrees Celsius (-13 Fahrenheit) and as high as plus 30 (86 Fahrenheit),” Stephanie said.

“We’ve been pretty comfortable so far honestly, the only thing that gets us sometimes is moisture.”

People have been quick to praise Stephanie’s unique way of living.

“That is so cool!!! No pun intended!” one user wrote.

“Beats getting up turning the car on and off!” another commented.

“Yes! So handy and I love that I don’t have to worry about carbon monoxide like people with diesel heaters!” Stephanie responded.
