Elon Musk decided to upgrade Tesla’s Dog Mode.
And believe it or not it’s all thanks to a random X user.

Elon Musk is famously a fan of dogs, both the real-life variety and Dogecoin.
The CEO has just announced he’ll be making adjustments to the ‘Dog Mode’ that his Teslas come with.
All thanks to a post on X.

One of the features that makes Tesla popular with its fans is Dog Mode, which makes Tesla super pet-friendly.
It’s unsafe, not to mention irresponsible, to leave a dog alone in the car.
However, with Dog Mode, you can keep the situation under control.
Dog Mode is designed for when the driver temporarily leaves the car to run an errand.
Once activated, the car will be regulated to a pet-friendly temperature.
On the center screen of the car will be a message to alert passersby that your car is in Dog Mode.
Lest someone break your windows thinking they’re doing your pet a favor.

Best of all, you can keep an eye on your pet via the cabin camera on the Tesla app.
A dog-lover and Tesla investor recently took to X to request a new feature for Dog Mode.
He found his dog was either being too clever or too clumsy, and kept opening the car windows.
“Dog keeps opening windows by stepping on armrest,” he posted.
Amazingly, in the midst of losing $7 billion in five hours and launching the Cybertruck, Musk replied.
“Ok,” he said.
This might not sound very enthusiastic, but when Musk says ‘Ok’ he means it.
In fact, an exchange almost exactly like this gave birth to Dog Mode in the first place.
Can you put a dog mode on the Tesla Model 3. Where the music plays and the ac is on, with a display on screen saying “I’m fine my owner will be right back”?

“Can you put a dog mode on the Tesla Model 3?” someone tweeted in 2019.
“Where the music plays and the ac is on, with a display on screen saying ‘I’m fine my owner will be right back’?”
Musk’s reply?
“Yes”.
