Zacaria SC is a Ferrari-powered Formula 1 car for the road

This is the Zacaria SC, a Formula 1 car with Ferrari power for the road.

And this isn’t a figure of speech, either.

The Zacaria literally has Ferrari power, because it actually uses a Ferrari engine.

This supercar is the brainchild of Zac Mihajlovic, a supercar owner and gearhead hailing from Sydney, Australia.

Mihajlovic became somewhat of a local celebrity in Sydney because he would always show up at car events and charity events with a 1989 Batmobile, the one that Tim Burton used for his Batman movies.

After making a name for himself as the ‘guy with the Batmobile,’ he decided to build his own supercar.

Unveiled at the 2019 Top Marques in Monaco, the Zacaria SC is powered by a Ferrari-sourced 6.3-liter V12, producing over 700 horsepower.

It sounds good, but it sounds even better when you remember the car only weighs around 1,000 kg, which is nothing for a car that has this kind of power.

You could cut a Cybertruck in half, and it would still be nearly twice as heavy as the Zacaria.

Featuring aluminum construction, the car is fitted with AP racing brakes with 18-inch and 19-inch wheels (front and rear) designed to run on Michelin tires.

But that’s just the suggested option, you can use any type of tire you want.

It also has a road-legal exhaust system.

You know, just in case you want to take the car for a drive without waking up the neighbors in the morning.

The Zacaria SC supercar made an appearance at the Festival of Speed Canberra this year, back in March, and it’ll likely be there again next year for the 2025 edition.

Stay tuned on that front.
