Collection of 230 classic cars including rare Ferraris found in hidden barn

A Dutch businessman amassed a massive 230-car collection over the years.

And no one had any idea about it until now.

As is often the case, the collection was kept secret – away from prying eyes.

That must’ve been extremely hard to do because how do you just make 230 classic cars worth millions disappear?

But, as it turns out, the collector in question, whose identity is of course undisclosed, managed to do just that.

It all started with a massive warehouse, and then there were two warehouses, and then three, and then the collector bought a desecrated church to store some of his vehicles.

Barn finds aren’t rare.

As shocking as it may sound, people apparently find Lambos or other expensive supercars in random barns quite frequently.

However, this collection is so vast it may as well break the previous (unofficial) record for the largest barn find in history.

It’s not just the number of cars, 230, that’s impressive – but also the diversity of the collection.

In addition to the usual Ferraris, Lambos, Alfas and rare Mercedes models, the collection comprises Alpines, Tatras, and old Lincolns.

It even includes a Facel Vega – a long-forgotten obscure French brand that was only active for about 10 years between the 1950s and 1960s.

The collection hasn’t been appraised yet, but you’re looking at eight figures worth of cars at the very least.
