From Rolex to AP, these are the hottest colorful watches on the market

Colorful watches are the ‘it’ thing right now.

Collectors love them and the market is exploding with them.

From the latest AP Royal Oak to the world-famous Daytona, these are the colorful watches collectors have their sights set on right now.

5. Jacob & Co. Fleurs De Jardin – $440,000

The Jacob & Co. Fleurs De Jardin is more than just a watch, it’s a work of art.

The bezel and the inner ring are made from 18-karat rose gold and they’re both set with rainbow sapphires.

In addition to that, the watch features sapphire flowers on the dial, including a 288-facet grass-green tsavorite.

Every single component is hand-made and even the diamonds are hand-set.

And the price? $440,000.

4. Richard Mille RM 68-01 Cyril Kongo – $685,000

Richard Mille designed the RM 68-01 in partnership with Cyril Kongo, a French painter who specializes in rainbow-themed graffiti.

The super colorful dial offsets the black Carbon case and the black velcro strap.

The sapphire crystal and caseback reveal a stainless steel tourbillon movement, spray-painted with nearly all the colors of the rainbow.

It’s bold yet somehow also understated compared to others on this list.

Mind you, there’s nothing understated about the price tag: $685,000.

3. HYT Soonow Instant Rainbow – $105,000

HYT is a relatively new name in the watch world but we have to include this piece because the dial is crazy.

Obviously, the most prominent element of the watch is the skull dial.

Under the sapphire dome, the skull comprises 668 sapphires, amethysts and tsavorites in 14 color variations.

And that’s not the end of the story because the skull also features yellow gold 313 pins.

Despite a limited production run of just eight pieces, this is actually one of the least expensive watches on the list.

It ‘only’ costs $105,000.

2. Audemars Piguet Music Editions – $32,000

The Music Editions collection by Audemars Piguet comprises five different pieces, available in different materials and sizes.

All five feature rainbow-colored gemstones on the dial.

But this isn’t just another rainbow dial AP because the brand came up with an original idea: the gemstones are designed to look like mixing console faders.

Prices start at $32,000.

1. Rolex Daytona Rainbow – $96,000

The Daytona Rainbow is the Holy Grail of Rolex watches.

The latest variation is made from rose gold and it features 36 rainbow-colored baguettes on the bezel as well as 11 sapphires that replace the hour markers.

And the price?

When it was launched, the Daytona had a selling price of around $96,000 but it quickly sold out.

And as we know, anything goes in the secondary market.

You can even find models that are going for more than $1 million right now.
