The new 2026 Ford Ranger Super Duty has been revealed for Australia, and it looks like it is the ultimate working man’s pickup truck.

The Ford Ranger has always been popular down under, and this new 2026 Super Duty looks like it has taken the pickup to the very next level.

It is so impressive that it might give its rivals and some of Ford’s American pickups a run for their money.

Ford Australia has made sure to give the latest version of the Ranger some very beefy upgrades.

The 2026 Ranger Super Duty looks ready for anything

Visually, it’s clear that Ford has gone to town to upgrade the new pickup.

Standard across the board are the massive 33-inch General Grabber all-terrain tires.

These tires now have wider tracks as well as more ground clearance.

If you like taking a truck through water, the Ranger now has a Safari snorkel.

Other additions include an open-weave mesh grille and an all-new hood design.

To remind you what it is, Ford has stamped ‘Super Duty‘ onto the truck’s hood.

Initially, Ford released the truck as a single-cab two-door, an extended-cab, and a dual-cab four-door.

For those who like a more touring-focused truck, the XLT four-door will join the range in 2026.

V6 power is under the hood of the Super Duty

Under the hood, enthusiasts will be happy to hear that the reliable 3.0-liter turbocharged-diesel V6 engine is powering the truck.

This is based on the engine from the standard Ranger, but calibrated further for what Ford says are “heavy-duty emissions standards.”

The truck will be Euro 6.2 compliant, which should future-proof it for the global market.

Another notable upgrade is the larger 130-liter fuel tank as standard.

The new tank gives an extra 50 liters of range to the Ranger Super Duty over standard versions.

Protecting the tank from accident damage and bumps, the tank is made from a thick steel shield.

This also protects the engine, transmission, front differential, and the transfer case.

New front and rear differential locks are fitted for the first time in a turbo-diesel Ranger.

These should further increase its off-road capabilities.

Deliveries are set to kick off in Australia in early 2026, which will come as music to the ears of those eagerly awaiting the pickup.
