When this American woman bought a Toyota Camry for just $1,500, she didn’t realize it would also come with a string of hidden benefits.
TikTok user Lizzy (@ilovehimsomuchbro) was stoked to get her hands on a 2011 Camry LE.
The car was a Facebook Marketplace find, and it appears she hit the jackpot.
Lizzy was so happy about her new car that she took to TikTok to gloat about it, and the video went viral for good reason.

The Toyota Camry was an impressive find
Lizzy revealed she only paid $1,500 for the second-hand car.
After landing the car for an already small amount, Lizzy went on to explain the other benefits that came with it.
Lizzy said she was over the moon because the car used so little fuel that she only had to pay for gas once a month.
In a clear sign of the car’s reliability, the car had already clocked 193,890 miles in the video too.
The Camry is a highly practical car as well, so it makes sense why Lizzy wanted to ‘flex’ her new purchase.
@iilovehimsomuchbro best decision tbh. (tire sensor light is because the sensor is broken LMAO.) #foryou #foryoupage #foru #toyotacamry ♬ original sound – WYA ADRIAN | DJ
Lizzy’s video became part of a popular subgenre on TikTok called FrugalTok.
This is where creators flaunt used cars they buy at budget prices.
It is this genre that also coined the term ‘no car payment’.
Lizzy isn’t the only person to show off her used car purchase either.
Other TikTok users have flaunted their bargain buys
Another user, Abbey, shared her story of buying a Honda CR-V with over 180,000 miles, saying she got it for a great price.
And Olivia (@misslive) showed off her classic Ford pickup truck, which she said she also got for a bargain price.
Lizzy received quite a lot of positive comments in response to her smart purchase.
One user applauded her for scoring such a good deal on it, saying that “People be tryna sell early 2000s Toyotas and Hondas for like 10 thousand”.
Others shared they had similar positive experiences with cheap reliable cars like a 2007 Toyota Corolla.

Dependable and reliable bargains from places like Facebook Marketplace seem to be becoming more popular.
Demand on the second-hand market is quite high, so finding a deal like this is extremely rare.
There is also something to be said for buying a car in one outright payment.
Lizzy may have played a very clever move with this purchase.
