After 40 years, the legendary DeLorean is back with a bang.

What you’re looking at is the stunning DeLorean Alpha5 EV.

And in case you’re wondering, yes, that’s DeLorean – the American automaker that made the famous DMC-12 from the “Back to the Future” movies.

While purists may argue it looks nothing like the original, the truth of the matter is that the car from the movies was never all that great to drive in real life – it was just cool to look at.

However, the Alpha5 seeks to revive the legend with a larger design, gullwing doors, and an aluminum body.

It also features advanced technology such as a smartwatch-like band that monitors pulse and temperature, and can create virtual hugs.

The new model is powered by electric motors, providing a range of 482 kilometers (300 miles) and faster acceleration.

Supercar Blondie’s Alex Hirschi got to check it out and it’s safe to say, she was impressed.
