Man who took camera inside pyramids captured fascinating interior footage

There’s no ifs and buts about it – the pyramids in Egypt are some of the most impressive man-made monuments on planet Earth.

While they’re impressive from the outside, they’re fascinating on the inside, too.

Not many people get to see what they’re like inside, that’s why this recent Reddit post is so special.

It may not look like there’s any way inside, but the pyramids are actually riddled with tunnels, as well as chambers and side passages, branching off towards tombs and other rooms.

Undoubtedly amazing, the first thing you’ll notice from the above video is just how cramped it is inside.

As a side note, a man paragliding over the pyramids captured what’s written on the top.

A wave of commentators took to the post to say the same thing: it looks incredibly claustrophobic.

Not only does it look like a tight squeeze, but it doesn’t look easy to get out, with lengthy tunnels stretching as far as the eye can see.

It’s important to remember that, back when the pyramids were built, there was no such thing as health and safety precautions in place.

You can forget modern lighting, too.

“This triggers my claustrophobia so hard,” one user wrote.

“Egyptians must’ve been short,” another pointed out.

“The level of nope is strong here,” a third posted.

At the end of the video there’s a quick shot of some stunning hieroglyphics on a large wall.

It appears to be the same location, however, some eagle-eyed viewers were quick to question it.

“This is two separate locations. I was in that pyramid exactly there are no hieroglyphics inside whatsoever,” one person posted.

If you plan on visiting the pyramids anytime soon and you want to take a peek inside, first be prepared for a tight squeeze – and don’t expect to see a whole bunch of hieroglyphics if you crawl down that particular tunnel, either.

While many think they were constructed by aliens, scientists believe the discovery of water finally solves the mystery of how the Great Pyramid was built.
