A YouTuber bought a flooded Bugatti Veyron which plunged into a lake in 2009 and restored into something special.

15 years later, the supercar is now back on the road and more powerful than any other Veyron in the world.

The car changed hands quite a lot before being acquired by Houston Crosta in 2021.

Crosta owns a network of supercar rentals in Las Vegas, so he had the means to fix the car.

Flooded Bugatti Veyron turned into something special

After getting his hands on the flooded Bugatti Veyron, Crosta realized the damage was quite extensive.

But he didn’t want to give up, even if the repair ended up being a headache and costly – just look at the cost of replacing faulty spark plugs and ignition coils.

Crosta has spent a lot of money buying the supercar from its previous owner.

To put that into perspective, this man who bought a Bugatti broke down all the numbers behind the purchase.

And even more on its repairs and a new powerful engine that makes it the most powerful Bugatti Veyron yet.

Even after giving the supercar a beautiful purple finish, Crosta plans to make more cosmetic changes.

According to the YouTuber, they have taken a flooded Bugatti Veyron and made it into the best one in the world.

The most powerful Bugatti Veyron

Crosta has made a whole series of videos showcasing the repair process of the flooded Bugatti Veyron.

In the latest video, we can see the supercar producing almost 30% more horsepower than the stock version.

But not everyone can restore a damaged supercar to such a degree.

It was thanks to Crosta’s connection and being a Bugatti dealer himself, that he could get all the parts needed for the repair.

However, it still must have cost him quite a penny, since he changed pretty much everything about the car.

Even a simple oil change in a Bugatti Veyron costs more than most people’s cars.

We are excited to see the next part of this series and how the Bugatti Veyron looks by the end of it.
