This Florida mom put out a call for someone with a ‘cool car’ to stop by for her son’s fourth birthday – and a lot more than one showed up.

Nadja Jovanovic wanted to do something special for her son Kosta on his fourth birthday, so she took to Facebook and asked anyone with a cool car to come by the house.

To her surprise, her local community rallied together and a whole fleet showed up on the day.

The mom of three spoke to Supercar Blondie about her son’s reaction to the heartwarming surprise.

How one Florida mom’s Facebook post brought out a surprise car meet up

When it comes to cars, we don’t often think of how heartwarming they can be.

There have been plenty of automobile stories that have touched us over the years, like this 100-year-old car that was fixed for its 88-year-old owner or this woman who won a 1964 Chevy Impala from her late mom’s favorite pizza place.

All of this is to say that cars are more than just slabs of metal on wheels – they touch us in ways we don’t expect.

You may recall the story of a Florida mom who was left stunned when a whole fleet of cars turned up for her son’s birthday.

Nadja Jovanovic spoke to Supercar Blondie about the backstory to the sweet story that has gone viral over on TikTok.

The 31-year-old mom of three said: “It was just more of a video that I made for our kids to look back on.”

“I didn’t even have a large following, so I didn’t expect to get more than 15 million views.”

Nadja’s son Kosta was turning four on March 24, so his mom was thinking of ways to surprise him.

She put out a post in a local Facebook group, asking for someone with a ‘cool car’ to drop by on his big day.

“He loves super cars. He knows all the names of them and and really enjoys Hot Wheels and all of that,” she said.

“And so about three weeks ago, I reached out on our Facebook group page. We have a local town page, very active, like 15,000 members.

“And I just thought, you know, anybody with a cool car, Lambo, even a G wagon, just something that he enjoys playing with, you know, and just gave an approximate location.”

A group member, Mike, rallied up a bunch of people from his car club and even included the local police force and they rode out to see Kosta on March 23.

Nadja recalled her reaction: “I would say there were between 10 and 12 cars there.”

“The police also joined. I saw some comments on TikTok saying that they’d crashed the party.

“But they were there to help!

“My kids were even more infatuated with their cars than some of the Porsches.”

Making a four-year-old car lover’s birthday extra special

Kosta is a big fan of cars, an interest that he shares with his two older brothers and his dad.

“We would show him videos on YouTube of, like, reviews of supercars, luxury cars, and it just stuck,” Nadja said.

“And he just, he loved it. McLaren is his favorite, but he just loves it all.”

On March 23, a ton of different cars pulled up on his street, including a Supra, Mercedes, and a Lamborghini Aventador.

For his mom, she told supercarblondie.com it was heartening to see people in her Florida town pull together – and to see the positive reaction the clip received online.

“It’s just incredibly heartwarming, and I’m just overwhelmed, not only by Mike and his willingness to do this for us, but just after that, reading the comments and thousands of people saying that it put a smile on their face,” she said.

“I’ve never seen that many positive comments on a video online in my life.”

There’s just one problem Nadja has – what is she going to do for Kosta’s fifth birthday?
