Jeff Bezos is no stranger to private jets and now he has added the $80 million Gulfstream G700 to his personal fleet.

The Amazon founder recently acquired the G700, and the aircraft was spotted at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.

This jet was simply parked across the tarmac while Bezos was in LA for the weekend.

Someone at the airport spotted the aircraft and recorded it.

Jeff Bezos and his private jet collection

It hasn’t been long since Jeff Bezos took delivery of the Gulfstream G700.

As a matter of fact, it hasn’t even been a month since we have known.

The addition of the G700 makes it the fourth jet in Bezos’ private jet collection.

Yes, you read that right – four private jets.

Most billionaires have supercar collections and yacht collections, but Bezos is a man of convenience.

What’s more, he’s a fan of Gulfstream because, looking at his fleet, there is more than one Gulfstream in there.

He also owns two Gulfstream G650ER jets and one Pilatus PC-24 light business jet.

For context, all of these — including the G700 — are top-of-the-line business aircraft brimming with luxury.

Bezos owns a private hangar where he stores all his private aircraft since you can’t simply park them in your backyard even if you’re a billionaire.

Well, you technically can, but it’s not practical.

All of his jets combined make the entire fleet’s value to be in the $200 million ballpark.

That’s certainly a wild amount of cash, and it doesn’t even include running and maintenance costs that these aircraft come with.

Moreover, the Gulfstream G700 is breaking records day and night — it recently broke two transatlantic speed records in a single flight.

Although we doubt Bezos got it to speed through the skies, he could still be relishing it for his personal travels.

He was in Los Angeles over the weekend with his fiancée, which pretty much confirms the entire thing – although not entirely.

However, the G700 does make for an interesting purchase in hindsight, plainly because of how remarkable the aircraft is.

The company began deliveries earlier this year, and it instantly became a hit.

Even Elon Musk has one, reportedly.
