Lamborghini Huracán Performante sets a new quarter-mile world record

There’s no ifs and buts about it – the Lamborghini Huracán Performante is an absolute rocket.

Delivering a serious blow of 631 horsepower from its 5.2-liter V10 engine, it’s capable of 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).

Do you really need anything faster? Jordan Martin thinks so.

Watch his Lamborghini Huracán Performante set a new world record quarter-mile in the video below!

Martin and the AMS Performance team have built a 2,800 WHP (wheel horsepower) Lambo Huracán Peformante.

At Maryland International Raceway, the AMS-built rocket hit a 6.98-second quarter-mile (400m) pass setting a new Huracán ET world record.

Hitting 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) in just 1.5 seconds must be an incredible feeling.

Make sure you check out the footage from the record-breaking pass in the above video!
