You can build your own supercar in hours as LEGO Technic reveals Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Supercar fans can now become their own household mechanics as the new LEGO Chevrolet Corvette Stingray kit has been revealed by Amazon.

The Corvette Stingray is one of the more iconic supercars in modern American history after the C8’s rollout in 2020 pushed this eighth-generation build into the public eye.

Since its release, the Corvette Stingray has picked up a number of accolades and its typical yellow body is a favorite with collectors and supercar fanatics.

Now though, you can own, build, and display your own pint-sized LEGO Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as the block-by-block design is set to release next year.

LEGO has revealed that the next supercar to arrive in its extended portfolio will be the Chevrolet Corvette (C8).

Cars have become commonplace in LEGO Technic’s list of projects, and the Stingray will join some equally iconic supercars for collectors to get their greasy hands on, such as the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica, Koenigsegg Jesko, and Bugatti Bolide.

The design will come complete with 732 pieces, making it quite a mammoth task in terms of LEGO, but a good pastime nonetheless.

It will also look spick and span on your shelves, unlike real-life Corvette Stingrays that have been forced back from the brink of death with a hefty powerwash.

Currently, the LEGO Chevrolet is being listed on Amazon Mexico for $59.99, and has confirmed a release date of March 1, 2025, which might be the best excuse to save your Christmas and holidays money.

LEGO Technic gears up for a huge 2025

LEGO Technic has a number of other car projects in the pipeline for 2025.

The iconic block brand continues its relationship with Red Bull and Ferrari F1 teams with the respective 2024 race cars also coming out in March alongside the Fast and Furious Toyota Supra MK4.

The Corvette Stingray does come as one of the cheaper LEGO cars though, given those F1 builds are priced at over $200.

Fans will likely eat the Corvette Stingray up, given its series’ popularity.

The timeless brand has been a cornerstone for car fans for the better part of a century and has brought owners to near tears after being reunited with their beloved car after 40 years.

Technic’s Chevy build was also revealed on the same day as LEGO’s next installment of its Star Wars range.
