Rolls-Royce has released a Phantom Goldfinger containing a ton of hidden Easter Eggs from the iconic movie.
It’s been 60 years since the iconic third installment of the James Bond movie franchise graced the silver screen.
If there’s one thing Bond is associated with – besides martinis and womanizing – it’s having a cool car.
So, Rolls-Royce decided to commemorate the occasion in style.

Rolls-Royce pays tribute to Goldfinger in their own special way
The manufacturer has released a special edition car to celebrate the movie’s legacy.
But don’t be deceived – this is no ordinary Phantom.
This car is stocked with gold air vents, speaker grilles and air flow controls.
It’s dripping with class.
Not only that, it’s full of Easter Eggs paying tribute to the film, which starred Sean Connery as 007.
In a video released to their YouTube channel, the design team talked through some of their choices.
The voice-over said: “The film features a 1937 Rolls-Royce Phantom Sedanca de Ville, used by Bond’s nemesis Auric Goldfinger to smuggle gold out of England.
“With Phantom Goldfinger, we wanted to do a modern interpretation […] whilst recalling some key moments from the film.”
No matter how many actors he goes through, Bond never stops being cool.
Moreover, his cars never go out of style – just take a look at this awesome Bond-inspired car with a bulletproof shield and a car telephone if you don’t believe us.
What special Easter Eggs could be found in the car?
The references are aplenty – the Spirit of Ecstasy on the hood of the car is coated in a gold plated finish for example.
Inside the car, the inner lid of the glove box is finished with a quote from Goldfinger himself: “This is Gold, Mr Bond. All my life, I have been in love with its color, its brilliance, its divine heaviness.”
There’s also a gun barrel style finish around the clock.
No matter where you look, there’s neat little nods to the film itself.
The chassis number ends in 007 and the license plate is identical to the one in the film – ‘AU 1’.
Rolls-Royce unveiled the Goldfinger at Stoke Park, a hotel and club in the south of England.
Stoke Park has appeared in two Bond films to date – Goldfinger and 1997’s Tomorrow Never Dies.
This isn’t the first time that a manufacturer has paid tribute to Goldfinger – Aston Martin also tried their hand at a 60th anniversary commemoration.
