This Tesla owner in the U.S. explained why the Tesla Cybertruck is possibly more of a truck than the Ford F-150.
We tend to forget about it sometimes, but the Cybertruck is indeed a pick-up truck.
The reason we forget is that most people drive it with tonneau cover up.
Still, according to this Tesla owner, there are at least three reasons why this is still a proper truck.

Three reason why this guy thinks it’s “more of a truck” than a Ford F-150
Everyone’s familiar with the Cybertruck’s odd shape, but we’re so used to seeing it with tonneau cover up that we sometimes forget this EV does have a truck bed.
And it’s quite sizable, too.
In fact, this is the first point Joe Fay, who goes by jf.okay on TikTok, makes.

“It has a six by four bed, which is actually bigger than most Ford F-150s,” Fay said in his video.
“You press a button and the tail gate comes down, and if you want even more storage, just lift this up”, he added.
By the way, when he said ‘lift this up’ he meant a lid that reveals a secret hidden compartment underneath the truck bed.
So these are two reasons, but there’s another he mentioned.
Tesla’s truck has rear wheel steering, which most of its rival don’t have, which helps a lot off road.
Is the Cybertruck a ‘serious’ truck?
The Tesla Cybertruck is certainly good at towing stuff.
So far, we’ve seen it tow a tractor, a Rivian, and we’ve also seen it beat a Porsche 911 on the track while also towing a 911.
Having said that, it’s clear that most Cybertruck owners are buying it for the clout.

Just about any celebrity you can think of has one, and some of them have more than one.
Kim Kardashian, for example, bought one for herself and one for her close friend and business associate.
So while the Cybertruck can definitely be called a proper truck, that’s probably a key factor for people who buy one.
