Most celebrities spend their millions on cars, while some take it one step further by buying private jets.
Some private planes are reasonably priced – if spending around $3 million on a plane seems reasonable to you.
Others, however, are like supercars of the sky, costing more than $100 million and customized to perfection.
Let’s explore some of the most luxurious and expensive private jets owned by celebrities.

The private jets of Mukesh Ambani

Mukesh Ambani took delivery of the first Boeing BBJ 737 Max 9 in India, which he uses as his private business jet.
It’s likely the billionaire spent more than the jet’s starting price of $118 million, modifying and customizing it to his liking.
The plane was originally designed to carry 220 passengers, meaning there is plenty of space in this flying mansion—1,120 sq ft in fact.
And while a plane of this magnitude would certainly be enough for most, this is now the tenth jet in Ambani’s fleet.
This, combined with the fact that he recently hired 100 aircraft to transport guests to his son’s wedding, shows the billionaire businessman is a huge fan of air travel.
Tyler Perry’s $125 million Gulfstream III

The Gulfstream III is well-regarded for its speed, luxury, and impressive range (3,650 nautical miles).
Only 202 units were produced, making the Gulfstream III that was found abandoned in California last year an extra special find.
Tyler Perry is one of the highest-paid entertainers in the world, as is clear from his $100 million mega-mansion.
Not content with 1,000 acres of land, the filmmaker treated himself to a piece of the sky too: a fully customized Gulfstream III.
It’s reported that at least $50 million was spent on modifying the plane, which now includes a theatre with special lighting, multiple Blu-ray players, and a 42-inch HD LCD screen.
The $150 million Gulfstream owned by Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian spares no expense when it comes to customizing her methods of transport, as we can tell from the way she spent $100,000 painting her cars to match her mansion.
She spent a fair bit more than that giving her Gulfstream G650ER a makeover too.
After buying the jet for $95 million, Kardashian added $65 million worth of upgrades to what she’s dubbed ‘Kim Air’.
These include cashmere seats, wooden finishes, and enhanced air ionization, which apparently makes passengers feel like they’re breathing ‘outside fresh air’.
Kardashian has also hinted at a SKIMS collab, releasing a range of loungewear to match her jet’s neutral cream tones.
Air Drake: One of the most valuable private jets out there

Drake’s plane, also known as Air Drake, is a Boeing 767-200ER that was gifted to him in 2019 by Canadian cargo carrier Cargojet.
Designed to transport cargo, the plane is massive and has a 206-ton cargo capacity.
Needless to say, Drake customized it beyond recognition, and the private jet features a full kitchen, leather armchairs, and an exterior with a hidden message underneath.
While he paid nothing for the plane itself, this is now one of the most valuable private jets out there, worth $185 million.
Most recently, the rapper’s jet has undergone another redesign, by the late designer Virgil Abloh.
Now the plane’s hidden message reads ‘Chances are she’s on board’ with an exterior that looks like lightning in the night sky.
Clearly there’s no limit to what the rapper will customize – just look at what he replaced the Spirit of Ecstasy with on his Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
