A Youtuber got an Uber Eats driver to deliver his food to him inside the longest maze in the UK.

Zac Alsop wanted to reward the driver for their efforts in finding him.

I just hope the food was still warm by the time it got to him.

The ultimate Uber Eats challenge

The test took place in the hedged maze in Noah’s Ark Zoo in Somerset, which stretches for 3.4km (2.1m).

Alsop placed his order for a pizza at the maze’s entrance, then made his way to the center to wait.

If only he had Lando Norris’ Land Rover Defender that’s fitted with a pizza oven – there’d be no need for takeout.

Or this ‘Cadillac de Grill’ that is no longer drivable but has a secret modification to be just as usable.

Back to the challenge, once the Uber driver, Rodrigo, arrived at the zoo, he was given a GoPro by Alsop’s team.

Without asking any further questions, he headed into the maze.

It wasn’t an easy task, as at one point he ended up back at the start.

To help him navigate the maze, there were different checkpoints with animal-related questions on them – it is in a zoo after all.

If he answered the questions correctly, he’d be directed down the correct path.

Fortunately for him, Rodrigo knew quite a bit about animals and was flying through the maze.

It was smooth sailing until the ninth question where he made a wrong turn.

Get it while it’s…lukewarm at best

By the time Rodrigo arrived at his destination, 27 minutes and 56 seconds had passed.

Alsop congratulated him a very generous tip: “My friend, thank you so much. That was record timing.”

In the comments section, people lauded the driver’s work ethic.

“Damn, the dedication these drivers have to deliver food, respect,” one person commented.

Another said: “These delivery drivers look so happy to do this, they definitely deserved this.”

Uber drivers are full of surprises – an influencer in Austria had to pick her jaw up off the floor when her driver turned up in a Lamborghini Urus.

Rodrigo was just one of five Uber drivers who was set the challenge of delivering food to Alsop.

You can check out all five challenges over on Alsop’s YouTube channel.
