West Coast Customs gave Shaq fans a closer look at this Rolls-Royce Phantom customized for Shaquille O’Neal.

What a treat their followers were in for.

This car is cool, authoritative, and has a Superman-style ‘S’ on the front grille – what’s not to love?

A closer look at Shaq’s Phantom

Shaq and West Coast Customs have been tight since the late 1990s when they began working on his cars.

West Coast Customs installed the additions to his Phantom, but they came from Mansory’s portfolio.

Mansory is a German luxury car modification firm that primarily works on Rolls-Royces and Ferraris.

It was WCC who completed the assembly process, giving the car its ceramic coating and sending it back to Shaq.

With Phantoms usually selling for around $500,000, this is a car for those who have cash to spend.

That suits Shaq fine – as he once bought three Rolls-Royces for $1 million simply because the salesman annoyed him.

That’s not a great strategy when buying cars – or anything – but Shaq seemingly has the dough to spend on such petty endeavors.

The internet reacts to custom Shaq Phantom

It’s fair to say that the internet were taken with WCC’s work, as they weighed in on the comments section of their Instagram page.

Amidst many flame emojis, one fan wrote: “That really does look awesome!”

“This is absolutely insane,” another commented.

In a similar vein, one follower wrote: “Holy whip, this is crypt.”

Elsewhere, someone else was asking the important question: “I wonder if they had to modify it so he could fit inside?”

This is a fair question – with a height of 7’1″, the basketballer has had some difficulty fitting inside of his vehicles.

In the past, he has admitted to wishing he could be a few inches shorter so he could sit comfortably inside his sports cars.

He said to People Magazine: “That’s the only time I’ve wished I was smaller, so I can get into some of these expensive sports cars.

“Other than that, I’ve never had that thought process.”

His Lamborghini Gallardo needed a ton of work done in order to accommodate the 52-year-old’s lofty frame.

Still, it’s down to the lofty frame of Shaquille O’Neal that he’s able to afford all of these things, so he can’t be too disappointed.
