A luxury Dutch car dealership has a new luxury take on the festive cheer with a Bugatti Chiron bedecked in lights becoming the ‘world’s most expensive Christmas tree’.

Forget dropping $80 on a tree from the lot, this hypercar is worth $4.25 million.

It’s been covered in LED lights to hammer the point home.

Santa better up his game and sleigh harder.

The expensive Bugatti Chiron ‘Christmas tree’

Ho-ho-however you see it – festive cheer or a PR stunt – the hypercar that came from the Netherlands car dealership, Bernards Exclusives, is certainly turning heads.

The hypercar lighting installation process took approximately four hours to create.

While it’s flouting local laws prohibiting car lighting on public roads – the festive spirit means that nobody seems to mind.

Other supercar light shows

The display has gone viral on social media – but this isn’t the first time a supercar has been bedecked.

LA-based YouTuber, Alex Choi, for example, covered his supercar in 30,000 LEDs.

The Lamborghini Huracan became the most distracting car on the road.

In fact, with 10,24 LEDs per channel and a total of 32 channels, they were so bright at 50-80 percent that Choi called his lawyer to find out whether the Lamborghini Huracan was still road-legal.

It was labeled the ‘Las Vegas Sphere on wheels’.

Tesla also got in on the action last year, with more than 100 cars gathered in Maryland, USA, to perform an unbelievable musical light show with a unique feature.

The ‘Tesla Light Show’ function allowed the vehicle to put on a funky light show set to music using its headlights, taillights, cabin lights, and other lighting.

More recently, a fleet of Tesla Cybertrucks performed an amazing synchronized trick during an incredible light show in Las Vegas.

A comment from Cybertruck’s official X account read: “I think we could sell out a stadium with that show”.

From researching the most ‘Google-able’ key terms to producing evergreen content - it’s been a time of hard work, growth, and success for the editorial team and the Supercar Blondie website. “I like to think of myself as a ‘method journalist’. In other words: I live and breathe whatever I am writing about. When writing about fitness, I trained as a personal trainer, and as a beauty editor, I completed an ‘expert’ in scent diploma with the Fragrance Foundation. “During my tenure at Supercar Blondie, however, I did something I never thought possible: I passed my driving test at the age of 36. One day I’d love to train as a mechanic to better understand what happens under the hood, too. “My sweet spot is providing readers with a ‘takeaway’ (read: something new they didn’t know before) after reading every one of my stories. While I don’t claim to be an expert in the automotive world, I know the experts and bodies in the field to rely on to provide our readers with an informative and thought-provoking story every time they visit the site.”
